| Hey friends! Boy, oh, boy, it's been crazy since I've become a stay-at-home mommy. Let's see. In the two months, I've been to Kansas City (for a week), New Mexico (for a week), Branson, Missouri (for a week), and camping at the lake for a week. And in three more weeks, we're heading to Tampa, Florida for General Conference/vacation. I told Jason I didn't know I quit my job to become a traveler. LOL Seriously, though, it's all just happened at one time. My stepdad, Johnny, has been battling Lukemia for about three years and took a turn for the worst. I ended up going up going to Kansas City to help my mom out. He's doing better now, thank the Lord. While I was there, I got a call from my grandma who told me about a family reunion they were having. None of my family had seen Rhiauna yet, so I decided that'd be a great time to go visit. So, her and I hit the highway and drove to New Mexico. Then, my stepmom had planned for me her and my sis to go on vacation in Branson, so that was on the schedule. And we'd already decided to go camping around Labor Day weekend, so after getting back from Branson, I only had a couple of days here at home before heading to the RV. Florida should be my last trip until at least January. Sheesh! Things have been going super for me being home. I do have to be honest, though. It has been an adjustment to get used to (financially). We've had our scary times living on one income, but it always seemed to work out. And I've had such a fun time with Rhiauna. She's a hoot! She just started walking a few weeks ago and is getting better at it by the day. Soon, she'll be into everything she's not already in!! She knows how to say "uh-oh", raise her fist and say "Go-Go-Go!" (as in GOOO SOONERS!), "Bella" (our lab's name), and many other words that aren't quite full words yet. She LOVES to talk on the cell phone, loves shoes, and is VERY independent. (She came by those last two naturally ) She also likes to play outside, swim, and ride Sea-Doo's. Keri, I was in Raton, and thought about you guys up in Trinidad. I went and visited Bro. McCuistion's church while on my way to New Mexico. It was nice to see everyone over there, again. Anyow, here are a few pics of little Miss Indepedent: First, here's Sealey with Rhiauna's shades on. We can't forget Sealey, remember?!
Out of the way! Out of the way! Crazy driver on the loose!
Seriously, Mom. Enough with the pictures.
Wore out from playing in the lake.
While doing laundry, Rhiauna decided to play
Rhiauna and her cousin Ashlynn swimming together.
Mommy and Rhiauna!
Daddy's girl...for sure!
Not exactly sure what she's thinking here. LOL
Too cute for words!
Eek, don't look at me! Look at the cute one on the right
Well, that's all I have time for. It's time to get ready for church! Love you all!
| Hey all! Remember me?! That short girl with the dark hair, and cute kid (yes, I'm a little partial!) So, how's it going? How's everyone's lives been treating them? Hopefully, swell and dandy. I don't have any pics to post, but as I was working, I thought, "Boy, it sure has been a long time since I've been on xanga to see how the xanga clan is doing." So, I came on here....and then decided to jot down a little update. Things have been going so good for me and my family. It seems like God is working things out that I never thought imaginable. Before we decided to bring a little one into the picture, I always prayed that God would bless me with one of the most important desires of my heart. And that was to be able to stay home with my baby. Well, as you all know, we had made the decision for me to go part-time. That in itself was a major blessing. Now, I've given my notice and will be a full-time stay at home mommy come July! Of course, I'll be helping Jason with his bookkeeping and the odds and ends that come with running your own business, but it'll all be from home. Anyhow, other than that, I've been staying pretty busy. We had an awesome service Sunday night. We're in revival with Bro. Sam Howard and while he was preaching Sunday night, a young man came in and sat in one of the back pews. When ending his message, this boy made his way to the altar and received the Holy Ghost! After praying, the story ended up being that he was on his way to a friend's house, and while passing the church, he felt like he needed to turn around and come in. Too awesome! Rhiauna Update: Ms. Rhiauna will be 9 months come June 14th. She's now crawling everywhere and standing. I don't think it'll be long before she's walking. She knows how to clap, wave, and praise the Lord, among many other things. She'll jam out to music, too. It's too cute! I could almost cry because I accidentally deleted all of my newer pics from my camera. There were some REALLY cute ones on there, too. I hate even thinking about it Well, I can't think of anything else at the moment. I hope everyone is doing great and all that good stuff | | |
| Hi, all! How's it goin? Well, would you look at that. Guess what time it is?! IIIIIIIttt's.....PICTURE TIME!!
Disclaimer: The above photographs were taken when the updater had a little too much time on her hands. Enjoy! Easter. Me, Rhiauna, and Jason. Of course, Miss Sealey's missing out of the pic
The little girl who took Sealey's spotlight in front of the camera.
Rhiauna and cousin Ashlynn. These girls are going to get into SO MUCH trouble together!
Rhiauna playing with her new Leap Frog book thingy (can't remember what it's called). I think I enjoyed it more than her, though. LOL
Rhiauna in her new life jacket. Notice how happy she is to try it on
Dedication Day. Her dress was absolutely beautiful. I was 110% satisfied with it!!
Looking all cutey-patootie!
Mommy and Rhiauna. What a mess! She's going to be posing in front of the camera before too long.
Us and Jason's parents. They are the best in-laws a girl could have.
One of my favorite pictures. Daddy and Rhiauna!
"Okay, mom. Enough with the pictures."
Oh, how she's going to love me for taking bath pictures, in the years to come
She thinks she's so big when she stands up.
Just had to throw one in of Sealey. She doesn't get too much action from the camera anymore. Poor, poor Sealey!
No clothes -- "ALLLLLRIGHT!!"
"Look guys! I got two teeth!"
Well. That ends the picture post for the day...or month...or several months. I would have posted more, but that's all I had on my camera. Things are going pretty good. Rhiauna's trying so hard to crawl. She's able to get on her knees, but after that, she doesn't know what to do, so she starts whining. She'll get the hang of it...and then...it's doom's day. It'll be time to lock all the cabinets and drawers! If not, she'll have EVERYTHING out. Other than taking care of her, and going to work, things have been pretty normal. No crazy stories to share. But when I do, Xanga will be the first place I post about it! And some of you know how my stories turn out! LOL Anyhow, hope you guys are doing great!! Much love
| Wow. It's already been almost 2 weeks! Here's a few recent pics of our little Queen. Boy, is she as onery as every. Her first teeth are starting to come in!
She's a mess! In Crystal news: I was going to quit my job, but they offered me a great deal. I'll get to work 2 1/2 days and the be off for 2 1/2 days. It's perfect! I'll still be bringing in some income AND get some days to play with Rhiauna. You know...take her to the park, take her for walks, etc., etc. So fun!! I can't wait to start! I've been a busy woman so there's not a lot of time for Xanga anymore I'm off again to continue my efforts in being the super-power wife and mommy. Gotta go shove the binky back in the Queen's mouth. LOL!
| I'm not even going to make excuses as to why I haven't been on here. I had some rose petals in the fridge and decided to take some pictures of Rhiauna with them, before they got bad. Anyhow, as I was snapping shots, she decides to grab a handful and eat them! I started laughing at her and she gave me the cutest little grin.
She's now 6 months old, can you believe it?! She's sitting up on her own and saying da-da-da. She said ma-ma for the first time TODAY!! Crystal news: I'm doing wonderful! I'm working part-time, four hours a day now. So fabulous!! Soon, I hope to be able to quit. We'll see what the good Lord has in store, though. Love you all!!
